What can I do?

There's a wide range of volunteer opportunities at Family Promise of Gainesville from serving meals, to providing information technology mentorship, and assisting with fundraising events. Our volunteers play an essential role in helping families experiencing homelessness attain sustainable independence. There are opportunities for everyone and every skill set.

Choose volunteer opportunities that match your passion and availability:

  •  Make a meal

  • Overnight host

  • Career readiness

  • Day Center office support

  • Fundraising events 

  • Supply drives

  • Construction and repair

 

Volunteer orientation is 9a-11a on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month starting on September 5th, 2026.
