Need help?

If you are a homeless family with minor children, or at risk of losing your housing, please click this link to fill out this form.  We do not guarantee that we can help you.

It is critical to fill out this form as best you can with honest information. We use this tool to help determine the program that best fits your family's needs.

Once a family is determined to meet initial eligibility, a staff member will make contact with the family to set an interview and explore next steps. Family Promise of Gainesville is unable accept walk-in referrals at any of its locations.  If a family does not meet criteria for our programs, they may be placed on a community-wide waiting list for help with housing needs.

Who we help:

We have shelter, rental assistance and homeless prevention programs.

We can help:

  • Parent(s) or legal guardian(s) with minor children who are literally, or at imminent risk of, homelessness.

  • Families who are willing to follow program guidelines and actively participate in case management to end their own homelessness or stay stably housed.
