Star of Hope
This holiday season, help fulfill the promise of every child deserving a home by learning more about Family Promise and how you can help children searching for a star of hope in your community.
The Family Promise Star holds great symbolism, not only for our organization but also for the people we serve. Each point of the star represents the core components of what makes our organization successful. Our success is attributed to the five key elements of Family Promise: Shelter, Prevention, Stabilization, Community, and Promise. The star represents hope for a brighter future for the children we serve
You can make a difference in the lives of countless children by joining our Star of Hope. Your donation has the power to help children find their way home. Please donate today and help us fulfill our promise that Every Child Deserves a Home. The star is a symbol of your ability to change lives. Join us in making a difference.

600 children in Alachua County schools are experiencing homelessness.
Every child in our community should have a bed to sleep in at night.
Since 1998, Family Promise of Gainesville has provided families experiencing homelessness with compassionate care that includes shelter, case management, education, housing, meals and transportation until they can transition to a home of their own.
Diversion
We work to avoid the trauma of a family losing their home before it happens.
Shelter
Our shelter models ensure the right fit for a family.
Stabilization
Programming like tenancy training after shelter helps families remain housed.
Housing
We provide affordable housing through apartments that we own.
